"Help Me, Rhonda" is the ninth episode of season 1 of Femme Fatales. It premiered on July 8, 2011.
In syndication and on streaming, "Help Me, Rhonda" is sometimes listed as the tenth episode of the season. This happens when the series premiere episode, "Behind Locked Doors", is split into two episodes.
Plot[]
Three thugs invade the home of a young woman, unaware that her lady lover is hiding inside. The criminals want Camille Gardner's husband, but what they get instead is a deadly surprise at the hands of Camille and her feisty girlfriend Rhonda in this twist-filled tale.
Summary[]
Camille Gardner's afternoon is interrupted by three gangsters named Molly Trevor, Marvin Widmark and Robinson McGraw, who let themselves into her remote ranch house to wait for her husband, Eddie.
Robinson reveals that Eddie, who works for Homeland Security, has some documents for them. Camille convinces Robinson to allow Molly to escort her to the bathroom. Molly reveals that she is an undercover cop, and lets Camille take a small switchblade from a bathroom drawer. When Marvin paws Camille during an inspection of the grounds outside, she stabs him. The injured Marvin chases Camille and is about to shoot her when Molly shoots him. Molly is then killed by a woman named Rhonda Temple, who escaped from the house, unseen: she is unaware that Molly is a cop.
Camille sends Rhonda ahead to a motel while she goes inside to deal with Robinson. Robinson gets the drop on Camille and forces her to open the bedroom door where her "kids" are supposedly sleeping. The room holds Eddie's corpse. Eddie came home unexpectedly, caught the two women making love with each other, and hit Camille, who grabbed a knife and stabbed him. Camille pulls the knife from Eddie's chest and kills Robinson. Later, after showering off the blood, she sits down on the couch and watches a movie on TV, only to find the police waiting to arrest her as they arrive at her house and knock on her door: the murder was caught on a hidden surveillance camera.
Opening segment[]
"You all know Camille Gardner – a beautiful woman who, like so many, got married too young, too soon. Well, now she's living a life she never imagined for herself with an abusive husband and aimless existence. Oh, and her world's about to get so much worse. Tango's beautiful, isn't she? Well, get ready, 'cause you're about to meet some animals that aren't nearly as pretty."
Notes[]
- Crystal Allen is known to Star Trek fans as the Orion slave girl D'Nesh in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Bound".

Trivia[]
- The movie that Camille Gardner is watching on television, right before the police show up and knock on her door, is Creepshow, an anthology movie which tells five terrifying tales inspired by the E.C. horror comic books of the 1950s.
